Next directors meeting May 7, 2007

Hi Everyone, just got back from the first TBE and PCBRA jackpot of the saddle series in Chetwynd and what a great time!  Hats off to Lisa Madge on the great job over the weekend!!!!  All  comments were very positive and the saddles and breast collars look great!  Many people traveled a fair distance to come to the jackpots with people from Quesnel, Edson, Keg River and Fort Nelson just to name a few.

it will soon be time for the Summer Jackpot again.

This year it will be held at Brenda Kolhmans on June 14th with details to follow closer to the date.  This will add to the many jackpots we already have booked for this year.  I think the total is close to 70 already and it's early in the year.  The Hypnotist in FSJ and DC was a great success again this year with a whopping $9500 raised between he two groups.  Thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors this year.  Without it would not have been such a success.

Next meeting will be held at Lynn Peck's house in FSJ on May 7th.

Sponsorships

– are fundamental for a great finals.  Remember that sponsorships are the responsibility of all the members.  If you can help out or have anything to offer please contact Meagan Pickett  (250) 782-7278 our Sponsorship co-ordinator.  She’ll be happy  to hear from you.

Membership and Jackpot Host Packages

– will now have membership forms included.  Many people attending races are in need of membership forms and sometimes have difficulty printing them off the Website, or do not have access to the internet.  If we include them with the host packages this will help to make them more accessible.  Please note that although membership forms may be obtained from the race host, it is still the responsibility of the applicant to forward their membership fees and form to the PCBRA Office.  Hosts are not to accept any money for memberships.

Jackpot hosts, please remember that ALL jackpot results and fees are to come to the office first. NO CASH will be accepted for jackpot fees. Submit cheque or money order to the office. If you send cash, I will send it back to you! This makes it much easier for the treasurer when making deposits, and for you the jackpot host, if you are ever questioned as to if your jackpot fees were recieved. You then have the cancelled cheque in your bank records for proof.

-Penny
